About Kim

I grew up in Bridgeton, New Jersey, a rural community in Southern NJ about halfway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Every summer, I spent the month of July “down the shore”, staying in Ocean City, NJ with my aunt and her family.  I grew up loving the beach and all things related but never had the opportunity to do any boating.

 Life was busy as a wife, mom of two only twenty-two months apart, and as a child life professional working in health care.  Fast forward to 2021 and my first true sail on my sister and her husband’s sailboat.  I loved it and haven’t looked back (well okay, maybe once or twice but that’s it!)  I am looking forward to continuing to learn and explore aboard Meraviglia!
